Donna joined Compass Insurance Partners in August 2010.  She has been in the insurance business since 1984 and has been a licensed producer since 1985.  She specializes in fire department/emergency services coverage but is also licensed to handle life, health, home, auto, farm and commercial insurance.  She received her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1990 and annually updates her designation with seminars and continuing education classes.

Donna enjoys being outdoors and is especially busy with her many flower gardens as well as a vegetable plot which supplies fresh veggies all summer and canned and frozen ones all winter.  She enjoys camping with her husband, Richard, and family.  They have a permanent camper where they spend many summer weekends.

Donna and Richard, who is retired after 35 years of teaching, live in rural Melvin on the farm where Donna was raised.  She developed her love of the outdoors in her childhood by participating in 4-H and helping her family by doing field and yard work. Donna and Richard have two children, a daughter in Dixon and a son in Savoy – not too far away to visit often with their families.  Both Donna and Richard also love spending time with their two grandsons.
